What are some of the goals of Economic
Development?
*To serve ALL of the communities and residents of the county.*
* Increase viability of rural communities *
* Discover opportunities and resources for business and community development *
* Help capitalize upon assets of the area, while maintaining the integrity of the land, people and history *
* Develop incentives and programs, with county and city cooperation, that would be advantageous *
* Draw potential businesses, residents and dollars to the county *
* Encourage tourism to the area *
*AND much more!*
Economic Development is a resource for growth, but more importantly an avenue for enhancing the way of life for each resident of the county.
